MSSA Interschool Gymnastics Competition

Viana Thakkar of the J.B.Vachha High School of Std 2 won a First  Prize in balancing beam and Third prize in floor MSSA Interschool Gymnastics Competition. 

MSSA Judo Championship 

Janaaya Agaria of the J.B.Vachha High School of Std 4 won a Gold Medal in the U-10 age category at the MSSA Judo Championship held in Jan 2024. U-49kg. 

Bombay City District & Sub Junior Athletics Championships 

Aaradhya Patil of the J.B.Vachha High School of Std 5 won a Silver Medal in the U-12 age group long jump event at the Bombay City District & Sub Junior Athletics Championships in Jan 2024. 

National Kickboxing Championship

Siya Patil of the J.B.Vachha High School of Std 3 won a Bronze Medal at the National Kickboxing Championship organised by Kickboxing Federation of India in Jan 2024 in Delhi. Wt category – Medium group.

 Judo Championship 

Devisha Manjrekar of the J.B.Vachha High School of Std 8 secured Second place  in Judo, girls U/12 Category in sensei N.T & M.N.Bangera Memorial Judo Championship held at Goregaon between 27-28 Jan 2024.

 

Mumbai City District skating Championship Challenge 2024

AISHA MEHTA of the J.B.Vachha High School of Std 1C bagged First with a Gold Medal  both in 20 sec speed race and 1 min speed race at Endurance Mumbai City District skating championship challenge 2024 on 6th Jan 2024 @Badhwar Park, Apollo Bandar, Colaba.

She now qualifies for State level on 13th & 14th Jan 2024 @Khopoli.

Tasya Shetty of std 6 secured  Second place in MSSA Judo competition in U/12 (-57kg) category held at chembur on 13/1/2024.

Aira Khatri, a student of The J.B.Vachha High School of Std 2 won a Silver Medal  at 24th Mumbai District Taekwondo Kyorügi Championship 2023-24.

GMAAA Annual Inter School Swimming Meet 2023

Shravya Shelar of std 4A secured Third place – Bronze Medal at GMAAA Annual Inter School Swimming Meet 2023.

MSSA Gymnastics Competition 

Deepika Vyavharkar of std 6 secured  Second place in Hoop event, Third place in Club event,Third place in Ribbon event, Third place in Ball event at MSSA Gymnastics Competition held on 21/12/2023 at Kalina.

She stood overall Second in the competition.

Shama Wagh of std 7 secured  Third place in Bombay YMCA Mallakhamb competition organised by YMCA held at Bombay Central between 16th to 17th December 2023.

 

Mallakhamb Zonal Level Competition

Shama Wagh of std 7 secured  Third place in Bhausaheb Ranade Vibhagiya Navodit Mallakhamb competition at Zonal level organised by Sane Guruji Aarogya Mandir at Santacruz between 9-10 Dec 2023.

 

Hula Hoop

Aarya Rishabh Jain ,  got recognition in Asia Book of Records, India Book of Records and International Book of Records for passing the Hula Hoop from one elbow to another continuously 84 times in one minute.

International Invitational Championship of Gymnastics-at Bangkok

International Invitational championship of Gymnastics ( BAMBI games 2023) was held at Bangkok in which more than 10 countries participated.

The competition was invited by TCCS, The Thailand Gymnastics Association. The tournaments was held on 25th to 27th November, 2023 at The Canadian Community Sports’.

Vruha Vallabh Naik, a student of the J.B.Vachha School in Under 5 category won One Gold and 3 Bronze medals.

SFA Interschool Artistic Gymnastics Competition

Viana Thakkar of std 2 won a Gold medal in in the SFA Interschool Artistic gymnastics competition held at BPCA Wadala in November 2023 in the U- 8 age group.

Handball Competition – State Level DSO

Under 14 handball girls of the J.B.Vachha High School won the Silver medal in State level DSO competition held at Nashik on 5th November 2023.

Janaaya Agaria  of std 4C won a Gold medal in Judo Inter-School Competition at Vibgyor High School Goregaon – West on 25th November 2023.

Bombay District Roller Skating Competition  

Iha Nerurkar of std 7 of The J.B.Vachha High School  secured Second place BOTH in 500mt race and 100mts race in 34th Bombay District Roller Skating competition held between 4th and 5th November 2023 in Mahim.

She also got selected for States.

 

CISCE Maharashtra Handball  

Dhun Doshi of std 7 , Sarah Khan of std 8 , Vrittika Nayak of std 7th and Tasya Shetty of std 6th of The J.B.Vachha High SCHOOL were a part of CISCE MAHARASHTRA Handball Team which won a Gold medal at the Nationals held in Pune from 16th October to 21st October 2023.

Sarah Khan and Dhun Doshi of The J.B. Vachha High School also got selected for SGFI( Sports Games federation of India).

Subjunior Kickboxing Championship

Siya Patil of the J.B.Vachha High School of Std 3D won a Gold medal in I in the Maharashtra State Subjunior Kickboxing Championship held in Dadar in Oct 2023.


She has been selected for the Nationals which will be in Haryana in Jan 24. 

Viva Judo Competition 

Keya Jain of the J.B.Vachha High School of Std 6 secured Third place in Interschool Viva Vibgyor Judo competition held in Vibgyor High, Airoli on 29th October 2023. 

Skating Championship 

AISHA MEHTA of the J.B.Vachha High School of Std 1C bagged Third position in Short race (Bronze medal ) in Skating Championship organised by Bombay District speed Championship@ Mahim. She now qualifies for State Championship.

Aarya Kondalkar of std 9 of The J.B.Vachha High School who was the part of CISCE Maharashtra & Goa Team, won a  Silver medal at the Nationals held in Bangalore from 29th September to 2nd October 2023. 

Arya Kondalkar also won a Gold medal in the individual doubles event in Carrom.

Aquatic Competitions  

NEEM SHUKLA of Std 10 from The J. B VACHHA HIGH SCHOOL was selected to represent INDIA in the WOMEN’S WORLD WATER POLO CHAMPIONSHIP which was held in COIMBRA , PORTUGAL from 8th to 15th Sep. NEEM SHUKLA OF THE J. B VACHHA HIGH SCHOOL also represented MAHARASHTRA & won a BRONZE MEDAL in the JUNIOR NATIONAL AQUATIC CHAMPIONSHIP held in Chennai in July 2023 and has also represented MAHARASHTRA in the SENIOR category and secured a BRONZE MEDAL at THE SENIOR NATIONAL AQUATIC CHAMPIONSHIP which was held in Bangalore in June 23.

The J.B.VACHHA HIGH SCHOOL U/14 Handball team secured SECOND place in the CISCE ZONAL HANDBALL COMPETITION. They also secured SECOND place in CISCE REGIONAL HANDBALL Competition held in Vibgyor High, Kharghar on 5th October 2023.

Gauri Sawant of std 5 won a Gold medal in Carrom U -12 at the MSSA Interschool Competition in September 2003.

Taekwando Championship 

Aaradhya Patil of std 5 won a Gold medal in fight & Silver in Poomsae at The Champions trophy Taekwando Championship organised by Khelo Taekwando Championship at Guru Nanak Khalsa College, Matunga in September 2023.

Shotocup Traditional Karate Federation Competition

Merzina Irani of std 9 won a Silver medal in Kata &  Silver medal in Kumite.

Diya Pawar of std 9 won a Bronze medal in Kata & Bronze medal in Kumite.

Tasya Shetty of std 6 won a Bronze medal in Kata & Gold medal in Kumite in Shotocup Traditional Karate Federation Competition held on 3rd September, 2023 at Andheri Sports Complex.

Judo Championship 

Janaaya Agaria  of std  won a Gold medal in Prof. Jigoro Kano Invitational Mumbai Judo Championship 2023 in the U-10 category at Goregaon in August 23.

Mumbai District Taekwondo Championship

Aaradhya Patil of std 5 won a Bronze medal at the Mumbai District Taekwondo Championship 2023 organised by Taekwondo Association of Mumbai at Dadar in August 23.

CISCE Handball Tournament 

Handball Under 14  a  team Runners Up at the CISCE Handball Tournament & have qualified for the Regionals which will be on 12th September 2023.

Fencing Competition 

Ira Raut  a  student of The J.B.Vachha High School  of Std 4 secured a First place – Gold medal  in under 12 category in the Mumbai District Fencing Competition Mini Cup and Child Cup 2023 hosted by Mumbai Association of Fencing.

Devisha Manjrekar  a student of The J.B.Vachha High School  secured a Second place  in CISCE KARATE COMPETITION in U/14 category held at NL Dalmia high school on 24th June 2023. 

 

Mumbai Open Taekwondo Championship 2023

Two students of The J.B.Vachha High School – Aira Khatri  of Std 2C won a Gold Medal and Lehar Jain of Std 4C ,  won a  a Bronze medal in Mumbai Open Taekwondo Championship 2023 (Pee Wee Girls Under 20 kg) held at  Chembur on 10th June 2023.

Aira Khatri, a student of The J.B.Vachha High School of Std 2 won a Gold Medal  in Late Nivrutti Narayan Avhad 1st Open Taekwondo Championship 2023 held at  BMC school – Goregaon on 16th April 2023. 

 

Road Race Cycling League 

Neem Shukla, a student of The J.B.Vachha High School of Std 9 secured  2nd place in Time trial cycling event  and  3rd place in Road race cycling competition organised by Khelo India women road race cycling league held between 23 to 25 February 2023 at Gandhinagar, Gujarat.

Saanchhi Rajadhyaksha and Marvi Bane, students of The J.B.Vachha High School of Std 4 and std 5 respectively won Gold Medal in Teakwondo competition at Goregaon East. Competition was arranged by Unique Teakwondo academy, Goregaon.

Adhya sawant, a student of The J.B.Vachha High School of Std 7 secured  First place in Mumbai City District Gymnastics Competition in Five Balls event held on 5th March 2023 at BPCA’s college Wadala.

Ava Mistry, a student of The J.B.Vachha High School of Std 10 won a  Silver Medal in Khelo India Sub junior Judo Competition held on 19th March 2023 at Dhirubhai Ambani International School, Bandra.

Indira Gadgil, a student of The J.B.Vachha High School of Std 6 won a  Bronze Medal in Long Jump organised by Bombay District sub junior Athletics Championships held on 21st February at Mumbai University Pavillion.

 

Rhythmic Gymnastics

Speed Skating Championship 2023

Aisha Mehta,  a student of  The J.B.Vachha High School of Senior Kg A won a  Bronze Medal  in the Open Mumbai Speed Skating Championship 2023 (Organised by Speed X Skating Academy).

Aisha has bagged the 3rd Position & has received the Bronze Medal in Quad IMP.

Neem Shukla of Std 9th of The J.B.Vachha High School For Parsi Girls secured 1st place in National level Road Cycling Championship organised by Cycling Federation of India held between 5th to 11th January 2023 at Nasik. 

She also secured  2nd Place in Maharashtra State Olympic Waterpolo competition organised by Maharashtra Olympic Association held between 10th to 13th January 2023 at Belewadi, Pune.

Grishma Desai of Std 9th of The J.B.Vachha High School For Parsi Girls won a silver medal in Mallakhamb in Mini Olympics held at Nashik on 8th Jan.

Nidhi Talgaonkar of Std 6th of The J.B.Vachha High School For Parsi Girls secured 3rd place in District level DSO Taekwondo competition held at Dharavi sports club on 21st December 2022 organised by District Sports Organization.

Neem Shukla of Std 9th of The J.B.Vachha High School For Parsi Girls secured 3rd place in Jio Mumbai Cyclothon on 13th November 2022 held at BKC organised by Jio Mumbai.

She secured 1st Place in GMAAA Open age Waterpolo meet on 13th November 2022 held at Nariman Point organized by Greater Mumbai Aquatic Association.

She secured 1st place in Maitrey Cyclothon on 27th Nov 2022 held at Chembur organised by Maitrey Charitable trust.

She also secured 1st place in DSO Cycling competition on 4th Dec 2022 held at ONGC Bhavan, BKC ORGANISED by District Sports Organization.

International Cup of Rhythmic Gymnastics 2022.

Ms. Adya Ashwin Sawant of The J.B.Vachha High School of std 7th secured 7th rank in the 5th International Cup of Rhythmic Gymnastics 2022 at Abu Dhabi, U.A.E. on 27th October 2022. The gymnasts are being trained at the Premier Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy under the kind guidance of Sr. coach Varsha Upadhyay and coach Sadichcha Kulkarni.

Neem Shukla of The J.B.Vachha High School of Std 9B represented Maharashtra girls team in water polo and won GOLD in the 36th National games held in Rajkot, Gujarat on 8th October 2022.

Neem Shukla of The J.B.Vachha High School of std 9B secured 1st place in District level Mumbai championship CYCLING COMPETITION held at Bhandup , on 24th April 2022.

Inter School Atheletic COMPETITION  – April 2022.

Ava Mistry of The J.B.Vachha High School of std 9D secured 1st place in 100 mts and secured 2nd place in 200 mts running competition organised by BAI Avabai Framji Petit School, on 24th April 2022.

Arnavi Shadija of The J.B.Vachha High School of std 8 secured 3rd place in MSSA CARROM COMPETITION held at D’silva High school, Dadar on 10 Feb 2021

Handball u/14 team secured first place in MSSA handball tournament held at MSSA ground on 10 Feb 2020.

Judo Championship 2020

Devisha Manjrekar  won GOLD MEDAL in Sensei N T Bangera interschool Judo Championship. Catergory under 10 minus 24 kgs, on 02 Feb 2020 at Lakshadham High school, Goregaon.

 

Rhythmic Gymnastics – At MSSA

 

Rudra Rane  of Std I  won 2 gold medals in rhythmic gymnastics (one in hoop ND one in freehand) at the MSSA inter school competition under 8 category on 4th February 2020 at BPCA Wadala.

Skating Competition –

Veera Shah of Group 8 kindergarten won the 2nd prize in 10th Open Mumbai Speed skating Championship in January 2020 at Mazgaon.

Danica K. Jakkula of Sr. Kg 9 – Kindergarten won a  Bronze Medal in 10th Open Mumbai Speed Skating Competiton held on 25th January 2020.

Krisha Joshi of Kindergarten Gr 10 won a Consolation Prize.

Chess Tournament – By Tirumala Tirupati

 

Amrita Nath of Group 10 – Kindergarten secured the  first place in Tirumala Tirupati Chess Championship 2020 Under 6 at Thane in February.

Rhythmic Gymnastics

 

Swara Goghale  of Std VIII A won the following  events of Rhythmic Gymnastics competitions

Secured One silver and two bronze in State level Rhythmic Gymnastics held at jalgaon on 12 December 2019. 

She also secured three gold medals in Mumbai games rhythmic gymnastics held at Andheri on 5 January 2020

Athletic Meet – By Dadar Parsee Gymkhana 2020

 

Dadar Parsee Gymkhana organised an Athletic meet on 8 feb 2020. Following girls took part and secured prizes.

1) Tanya Vakil of std 9th  secured First place in High Jump, 60m run, 300m run, Long Jump, 150m run and 4*150m relay and also secured second place in Shot put.

2) Hufriya Daruwalla of std 9 secured  Third place in 60m run and Shot put.

3) Vahishta Mehta of std 9 secured Second place in 60m run, 150m run, 300m run, Long jump, High jump and  secured First place in 4*150m Relay

Amrita Nath secured the  third place in Shivtej Pratishthan Chess tournament in Jan 2020 at Kharegaon

Dhun Doshi of std 3 was Runners Up in U-10 Judo at the Powai Fest organised by Rotary Club of Bombay in January 2020.

Judo Competition 2020 – By Kalina University  

Devisha Manjrekar of std 4 won a Bronze medal at Mumbai games in U-10 Judo Competition at Kalina University in January  2020.

  Hiya Chheda of class 5th secured Third place in Mumbai Games Judo competition held at kalina on 12th January 2020.  She also secured third place in Rotary club Judo Competition held at Hiranandani on 25 jan 2020.    

Rhythmic Gymnastics

Sharvari Rane of Std 8 secured a Gold medal in Rope and a Silver medal in clubs in Rhythmic Gymnastics  in Mumbai game held at Andheri sports complex on 4th  January 2020.

Soft Tennis Competition 2020

Taansha Shetty of class 9th and Tanishka Save of class 7th  represented at State level Soft Tennis tournament held at Buldana on 22 JAN 2020 AND secured the First place.  Tannsha  Shetty is selected for the nationals which will be held at Delhi.

 

Rhythmic Gymnastics

1. Gold medal in 30th rhythmic gymnastics State championship 2019-20 at Jalgaon in December 2019.

2. Silver medal at Mumbai Games in Andheri in January 2019.

Rope Mallakhamb-Parle Mahotsav 2019

Grishma Desai of class 6th, secured first place in Rope Mallakhamb  in Parle Mahotsav held at Parla on  21st Dec 2019.

 

U-14 Handball 2019

U/14 girls secured First  place in POINSUR GYMKHANA HANDBALL competition held at Kandivali on 3rd and 4th DEC 2014 and  third place in VIVA HANDBALL COMPETITION held at Borivali on 5th and 7th December 2019.

The team comprised of the following girls.

Grishma Desai of class 6th, secured second place in MSSA Rope Mallakhamb Competition held at BPCA College, Wadala on 7 December 2019 and secured First place in RYP Rope Mallakhamb Competition held at Ville Parle on 8 December 2019.

SFA KARATE COMPETITION Competition 2019

Merzina Irani of class 6, secured second place in SFA KARATE COMPETITION held at Mumbai University on 8 December 2019.

Judo Championship 2019

Devisha Manjrekar of std 4 won the following medals-

1.  Bronze Medal at Dr Ramesh Yeshwant Prabhoo (RYP) Judo Championship 2019, held at  Prabhodhankar Thackeray Krida Saankul, Vile Parle, on 1st December 2019.

2. Silver Medal in MSSA Interschool Judo Competition.


3. Gold medal at the MSSA interschool Judo competition held on 6th December 2019  at Dharavi sports complex Bandra.

Tanya Vakil of Std IXA Secured 2nd place in Hurdles and 3rd place in Long Jump At RELIANCE FOUNDATION ATHLETICS COMPETITION held  at Priyadarshani Park, Nepansea Road on 10th and 11th November 2019.

Rhythmic Gymnastic Competition 2019

Swara Goghale  of Std VIII A won the following  events of Rhythmic Gymnastics competitions

1) First place in Rope, Ball, Clubs, Ribbon and All Rounder events  in Rhythmic Gymnastics held at Dahravi Sports Complex on 28th  September  2019.

2) Second place in Rope, Ball, Clubs, Ribbon and all rounder event and Third Place in Rope event at Divisional Level held at Dharavi Sports Complex on 14th October 2019.

3) Second place in Rope, event and All Rounder Third in State Level Rhythmic Gymnastics held at Aurangabad on from 1st to 3rd November 2019.

4) Second place in Ribbon  at  National Level Level Rhythmic Gymnastics held at Agra from 10th to 14th November 2019 and also selected for Khelo India.

 

District Level Judo and Karate Competition 2019

Manashni Umrigar  of Std XB won the following 2 medals for the various Karate and Judo competitions

1) Gold Medal  in the District Level Competition held at Dharavi Sports Complex on 13th  October 2019. 

2) Silver Medal at District Level DSO Karate Competition held at Dharavi Sports Complex on 13th October 2019.

Bhuvana Avari of class VIII C  represented India at the World Gojuryu Karate Federation  Championship held at Malaysia from 15th to 22nd September 2019.

DSO Karate and Judo  Championship 2019

Srushti Mahale of class XB won the following 4 medals for the various Karate and Judo competitions

1) Gold Medal at District Level DSO Judo Competition held at Dharavi Sports Complex on 2nd October 2019.

 2) Gold Medal at District Level DSO Karate Competition held at Dharavi Sports Complex on 13th October 2019.

3) Gold Medal at Divisional Level DSO Judo Competition held at PEN on 23rd October 2019 and represented Mumbai for State Level held at Latur on 6th October 2019.

4) Bronze Medal at Divisional Level DSO Karate Competition held at Dharavi Sports Complex on 8th November 2019.

DSO Badminton Championship 2019

Our Under 17 badminton Team consisting of Saanvi Mardolkar, Keya Parekh , Stuti Gala, Sania Gurjar and Hetvi Vaidya was victorious and secured the FIRST place in DSO District Level Badminton Championship in the year 2019

Rotaract Aquatic Championship 2019

Hiya Chheda of class 5A took part in Rotaract Aquatic Championship on 30th  September 2019 at Kamgar Swimming pool. She secured 4 medals.

1) Gold in Freestyle.

2) Gold in Butterfly.

3) Silver in Backstroke.

4) Bronze in Breast Stroke.

 

District Level Karate Competition 2019


Kairavi Nayak of std 9 secured Second place in District level Karate COMPETITION, held on  1st November 2019 at District sports complex.

Karate Championship 2018-2019

Merzina Irani won the Gold  medal in Karate-Kata and another Gold Medal in Karate-Kumite at the YKKF India Karate Championship 2019 held in Mumbai on 11th August 2019.


She also won Silver medal in Karate-Kata Competition at the YKKF Tournament held in Pune on 3rd May 2019. 

She won the Gold  medal in Karate-Kata and another Gold Medal in Karate-Kumite at the YKKF India Karate Championship 2018 held in Panchgani on 27th December 2018. 

Judo  Championship 2019

Merzina Irani won Bronze medal in Judo at the Prof. Jigoro Kano Invitational Judo Championship 2019. Held in Mumbai on 17th August 2019.

She had won a Bronze medal in Judo at the MSSA Judo Competition held in Mumbai on 15th January 2019
