CMUN
The Cathedral and John Cannon Senior School had organized 28th Annual session of the Cathedral Model United Nations for students on the lines of the United Nations. CMUN is one of India’s oldest and most prestigious student – led conferences, embodying a tradition of excellence. It was intriguing to witness school-going teens engage in debates and discussions about the historic legacy. The result was a diverse, engaging line up of topics, meticulously designed to provide delegates with the opportunity to debate global issues that span eras from contemporary challenges to the epochs of history.
The Conference was a three-day long inter-school UN model, held from 17th August, 2024 to 19th August, 2024 at The Trident Hotel, Nariman Point.

Student delegates from all over India had participated for the conference. Student delegates from Nepal had also come to participate for the conference. Eight student delegates of our school participated in CMUN and engaged themselves in debates and discussions. Each delegate were a part of a committee.
Perseverantia 2024
‘Perseverantia ‘ is an Inter school Competition organised by Bombay Scottish- (Mahim). It was held from 1st August to 3rd August 2024.
Around 32 girls participated from our school for around 8 events like Tug of War, Football, Basketball, Socials, Carmen, Artem, Debate, Fortuna
Zosta Monsoon Magic Events
Kyra Panthaky 10C, Arnaz Zarthoshtimanesh 9D & Ushtana Hodiwala 10B, all three won a Gold Medal and a small trophy on Saturday 6th July. Organised by ZOSTA, MONSOON MAGIC EVENT at the Bai Avabai Petit Girls’ High School. Students from all the schools were made into different teams. The winning Team’s Captain was our JBV’S Kayra Panthaky.
Immaculata 2024
‘Immaculata‘ is an Inter school Competition organised by St. Mary’s High School – ICSE (Mazagaon). It was held on 29th June, 2024. Around 18 schools had participated for the various competitions
Around 90 students from J.B.Vachha School participated in various events eg. Performing Arts, Fine Arts, Literary Arts, Sports, Out of the box, Mystery etc.

YMCA Debate 2024
Five of our students Zuhaira Shahbazker, Amrit Kaur Bava, Sakshi Mithilesh, Diya Venkatesh and Mansee Singh participated in the Debate Competition at YMCA on July 20th, 2024 .They qualified for the final round. The competition featured impressive display of public speaking and argumentation skills. The speakers were on point, tackling tough topics with ease and confidence..
Iran League Competitions
Umrigar Hana Kaevan , of std 6 won the First Prize, Mehta Mahzarin Burzin of std 6 won the Second Prize and Merzina Irani of std 9 won the Second Prize in Essay Writing Competition.
Khadiwala Rokzan received Consolation Prize in Drawing Competition in The Iran League Elocution Competition held on Saturday, 13th April, 2024 at Allbless Baug.
