Field trip to New Custom House at the Ballard Pier on 27th October 2023
On 27th October 2023 20 students with 2 teachers went for a field trip to New Custom House at the Ballard Pier with the aim to visit the Mumbai Port Trust We reached there at 10:50 a.m.
It was followed by a conference held at the New Custom House which was presided over by Mr Pramod Agarwal Principal Chief Commissioner of Customs, Mumbai Zone ,followed by a brief visit to Mumbai Port Trust.
Seminar On - How to be an Awesome All-rounder
Career Exploration Day on 6th September 2023
For the students from Grades 6 to 10 , a Career Exploration Day was organised on Wednesday 6th September by our School Career Counselor in the school auditorium on 6th September 2023.
Session included:
- Early career explorations
- Identification of careers / subjects related to interests
- Options available in arts, science and commerce streams
- School /college admissions advice and career planning
Parents also attended in large numbers to make the most of this opportunity .
Roots and Shoots Programme on 26th July 2023
Miss Katie Bagli oriented the students of Standard 6th, 7th and 8th of J.B. Vachha High School about the Roots and Shoots Programme of Jane Goodall Institute, India.
Roots and Shoots Programme is a humanitarian and environmental programme for young people, being inspired into action in areas that they feel strongly.
This programme was held on 26th July 2023.
Diplomathon World Symposium Orientation on 20th June 2023
Diplomathon World Symposium Orientation was held on 20th June, 2023 from 10:30 am to 11:30 am.
Students of Grade VIII & IX were informed about the programme in detail. Leaflets pertaining to the Diplomathon was handed out to the students.
Quiz Competition By Sony Liv on 13th April 2023
Sony Liv conducted a Quiz Competition 'QOTY' on 13th April 2023 for students of Std. IX & X. The organizers went to each class and conducted a quiz competition. One student from each class was selected as the winner. Gift in the form of a water bottle was given to the winners.
